KCC reacts to Rizvanoll, legal proceedings for defamation will be initiated
The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce (KKC) has expressed deep concern regarding the statements made today to the media by the Acting Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, in which the KCC is referred to as an "opposition political actor" and accused of discouraging businesses from applying for grant schemes.
In its official response, the KCC described this claim as unfounded, harmful and unacceptable for an institution that for decades has been a constructive partner of all governments, without distinction.
The Chamber recalls that throughout this period it has continuously encouraged businesses to apply for support schemes, seeing them as an important instrument for economic development and increased competitiveness.
"Any claim to the contrary is untrue and seeks to tarnish our reputation. The continued success and influence of the KCC seems to be deterring some actors who, in the absence of arguments, choose untrue discourse," the KCC statement said.
The Chamber has asked Rizvanolli to present clear and verifiable evidence regarding her claims by 08.12.2025. In the absence of such evidence, the KCC warns that it will initiate legal proceedings for defamation and damage to the institution's reputation.
In response, OEK also recalls that the former minister will have to account for the damage caused to businesses by the unprepared and unilateral manner of their entry into the energy market, which has caused serious financial difficulties for local enterprises.
The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce emphasizes that it will continue to work professionally, independently and without political involvement, protecting the interests of businesses and the economic development of the country.
