1 dead from coronavirus in Kosovo
The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, a total of 1.589 samples received by the National Institute of Public Health and the contact tracing of cases in the field were tested, of which 363 positive cases resulted.
According to the institute, 24 cases of death with positive SARS CoV-6 were reported within 2 hours. The cases of death are from the municipalities: Pristina 3 cases (85, 81, 75 years old), Lipjan 1 case (83 years old), Malishevë 1 case (71 years old), Suharekë 1 case (71 years old).
"The total number of positive cases is 55.498 cases from 206.941 people suspected of having the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1.405 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 418 patients have recovered, while the total number of recoveries to date is 48.990 cases, while the number of active cases is 5.103," the NIPHK announced.
Meanwhile, the municipality with the most positive cases continues to be Pristina.
In the last 24 hours, 109 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the capital.
"The positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 109 cases, Podujevë 41 cases, Mitrovica 28 cases, Vushtrri 17 cases, Gjilan 15 cases, Deçan 14 cases, Prizren 13 cases, Lipjan 12 cases, Pejë 12 cases, Malishevë 11 cases, Suharekë 10 cases , Year 10 cases, Fushë-Kosovo 9 cases, Gjakova 9 cases, Rahovec 9 cases, Ferizaj 6 cases, Dragash 5 cases, Junik 5 cases, Kamenica 5 cases, Istog 4 cases, Klinë 4 cases, Skenderaj 4 cases, Drenas 3 cases, Obiliq 3 cases, Graçanicë 2 cases and one case each in the municipalities of Kaçanik, Novobërdë and Extras", the announcement states.
