10th victim from the cold recorded, 7-year-old girl dies (Photo)

The death toll from the cold weather that is sweeping across the UK has risen to 10.

A 7-year-old girl has died after a car skidded and hit her, reports say. Indeksonline.

According to British media, the girl is believed to have been crossing the road when the car hit her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Also today, a 75-year-old woman lost her life in her car from the cold, while a 46-year-old man died as a result of an accident, reports Indeksonline.

Two more people died on Wednesday, while on Tuesday 4 people lost their lives in an accident.
