The Constitutional Court lifted Balluk's suspension, Rama: A dangerous precedent was eliminated

Prime Minister Edi Rama commented on his podcast "Flasim" on the Constitutional Court's decision that lifted the suspension from office of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Rama said that the decision ended a unique precedent in the world where the judge and prosecutor took over the powers of the government and the assembly.

"In the legal aspect, a unique precedent in the world was eliminated and brutality was repelled, while in the inter-institutional aspect, this surprise where a prosecutor and a judge took on the powers of the prime minister and parliament, thereby disrupting the state, necessarily requires an inter-institutional reflection, not only on this case but on the worrying symptoms of the irresponsible exercise of the new justice system," said Rama.Indeksonline/
