44-year-old man commits suicide by jumping from bridge in Gjakova

NK, 44 years old, is suspected of having jumped from the 10-15 meter high bridge in the village of Meqë, a few kilometers from Gjakova.

According to Kosovo police, the case is being investigated as a suicide.

"On the Gjakova-Klina road in the village of Meqe, a person jumped from a 10-15 m high bridge. After receiving information, police patrols with the investigation unit arrived at the scene and the ambulance and fire department were notified. The victim was found at the scene with no signs of life, and the death was confirmed by the medical team. At the moment, the causes of this incident are unknown, but the first suspicions are that the victim committed suicide. The initials of the victim are NK, 1974," the Kosovo Police statement said./Indeksonline/
