8-year-old girl sent to Suhareka Emergency with no signs of life, police provide details

An 8-year-old girl was sent without signs of life last night from the Main Family Medicine Center in Suharka to the Emergency Department in Suhareka.

This was announced by the police spokesman for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi, who announced that police patrols and investigators went to the scene and were informed by the attending physician that the child, at the moment of admission to the Emergency Room, had no signs of life.

"On 14.12.2025, at around 21:50, QKMF-Suhareka reported that a female child, about 8 years old, from the village of Greiçevce, Suhareka, was brought to the Emergency Department without signs of life. Police patrols and police investigators went to the scene and were informed by the attending physician that the child, at the time of admission to the Emergency Department, had no signs of life," the confirmation states.

Bytyqi added that the Prosecutor for Serious Crimes has been contacted regarding the case and a "Death Investigation" case has been initiated.

"The body, by order of the competent prosecutor, has been sent for autopsy," he announced.
