A clinic in the north closes, the inspectorate finds serious deficiencies and danger to patients

The Directorate of the Municipal Inspectorate in North Mitrovica, in cooperation with the Sanitary Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health, has taken measures against a licensed private clinic, temporarily closing it after a detailed on-site inspection.

During the inspection, around 30 expired medical products were identified and removed, raising serious concerns for patient safety.

Also, irregularities were found in the ventilation system, as well as inconsistencies in documentation, including the lack of notarization of several important documents, which constitutes a violation of professional and legal standards.

Authorities have announced that the Pharmaceutical and Health Inspectorates will be on site tomorrow to destroy suspicious items and deepen investigations into the operation of the clinic.

Meanwhile, the regular administrative procedure for taking punitive measures continues, including the possible suspension of the license, until all identified deficiencies are corrected.

Local authorities have emphasized that such actions are necessary to guarantee safety and quality standards in health services provided to citizens.
