A person is arrested for several theft cases in Ferizaj

Kosovo Police have announced that two cases of theft were reported to the police station in Ferizaj on Wednesday.

According to the police report, the 31-year-old committed theft in a supermarket and stole several pairs of shoes in the yard of a house.

"Around 20:04, on "Zenel Hajdini" street, in a market, the theft of several food items was reported. While around 21:00, on "Lulzim Guta" street, inside the yard of a house, the theft of several pairs of shoes was reported.

"At around 21:20, police units located and arrested the suspect NA (31 years old), who, after being interviewed at the Investigation Unit, admitted to committing both of the above-mentioned cases," the police statement said.

Based on the evidence, video recordings and the manner of committing the crimes, the suspect was also interviewed for two other cases of theft that occurred earlier:

"On 15.10.2025, on "Esat Mekuli" street, he stole several pairs of shoes;

"On 31.10.2025, on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" street, in the Great Mosque in Ferizaj, electronic sound equipment and shoes were stolen," the police statement said.

The suspect admitted to committing the thefts and after being interviewed by police investigators and by decision of the state prosecutor, the suspect was released in a regular procedure, while investigations into the cases continue./IndeksOnline/
