A person is arrested in Podujeva for organizing pyramid schemes and illegal gambling.

Police have arrested a person in Podujeva, on suspicion of organizing pyramid schemes and illegal gambling. Kosovo Police have intervened in a bar in Podujeva, where illegal gambling activities are suspected to be taking place. According to the police report, the case was reported at around 20:55, while during the search in the bar of a male Kosovar suspect, various equipment and materials used for organizing gambling were found and seized.

"Podujeva 09.02.2026, 20:55. It has been reported that illegal gambling activity is taking place in the premises of the Kosovar male suspect. A search was conducted in the premises of the same suspect, during which a printer for printing tickets, a scanner, three boxes, twenty-seven (27) packs of playing cards, two monitors, a keyboard and forty-four (44) printed gambling coupons were found and seized. By decision of the prosecutor, after the interview, the suspect was taken into custody," the Kosovo Police report states.
