A suspect was arrested after firing a gun in the air in Vushtrri.

Police in Vushtrri have arrested a person suspected of using a weapon.

"Investigators of the Vushtrri Police Station, after conducting investigations, have arrested a suspect who is suspected of having fired a firearm into the air in Vushtrri in the early hours of today, 10.11.2025."

The weapon was seized, while the suspect was detained for 48 hours.

"A pistol-type weapon, which was allegedly used by the suspect, was seized from the suspect as material evidence. After interviewing him, a case was initiated against him for the criminal offense: 'Use of a weapon' and 'Unauthorized possession of weapons', while by a prosecutor's decision, the suspect was ordered to be detained for 48 hours."
