After 19 years together, the bride passes away just hours after the wedding ceremony
A story of love and pain has touched public opinion in Britain, after a bride lost her life just hours after her wedding.
Jade Tabrar, 37, married her partner of 19 years, Adam Kemp, 42, on November 3, in a small family ceremony at home.
The couple, who had known each other since childhood and had five children together, decided to celebrate their love after Jade received the tragic news that she only had three months to live due to stomach cancer.
Just a few hours after the wedding, Jade passed away in her husband's arms.
"She looked me in the eye and told me she was happy that Mrs. Kemp was finally here and that she had her family by her side. Then she lowered her head and I realized that her soul had left," Adam confessed with tears in his eyes.
He added:
"We stood there, our heads resting on each other. I said, 'I love you, honey. It's okay, you can go now, it's not hurting anymore.'"
"It was the most beautiful day of my life and the most painful at the same time. I married the most beautiful woman in the world."
Jade was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August 2023, after months of pain, weight loss and difficulties during pregnancy. Doctors initially thought the symptoms were due to pregnancy fatigue, but after the birth of her son, tests revealed the cancer was in an advanced stage.
Despite treatments, the disease quickly spread to her uterus and ovaries. Adam says Jade never gave up, even creating a "bucket list" to make some dreams come true and make sure their children had the best Christmas ever.

But her condition quickly deteriorated. With the help of hospice staff, the couple organized the wedding ceremony at home.
“The registrar came to us because Jade was very sick. I pushed her into the room in a wheelchair and knelt down next to her so we were at the same level. She wiped my tears and said, ‘Don’t cry, I love you.’”
Everyone present burst into tears, saying they had never seen a wedding with so much love.
After the guests left, Adam helped Jade into her pajamas and they talked about their fondest memories. A moment later, her breathing changed.
At 22:45 p.m., she closed her eyes forever, just hours after saying "Yes, I do."
The page that Jade had previously set up to raise funds for her dreams is now being used to help the family with funeral expenses.
