Fire at the airport, damage over 1 billion euros
Investigators in Bangladesh estimate losses at more than $1 billion after a devastating fire broke out in the logistics area of the main airport on Saturday.
The fire, which raged for 27 hours, destroyed large quantities of clothing, fabrics, medicines and chemicals, goods destined for global brands such as H&M and Walmart.
At least 35 people were injured in the fire and all air operations were temporarily suspended./Indeksonline/
