Ardian Ismajli and Adrion Pajaziti leave Albania's squad

The Albanian national team has begun preparations today for the big match against Serbia.

This match will be played on October 11 in Leskovac and is part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Three days later, Albania will also play a friendly match against Jordan at "Air Albania".

In the first session of this month, Sylvinho counted on most of the players, as Jasir Asani, Thomas Strakosha, Arbër Hoxha, Ivan Balliu and Enea Mihaj will join the "red and black" later.

The Albanian Football Association also announced that defender Ardian Ismajli and midfielder Adrion Pajaziti have been withdrawn from the squad due to injuries.

Ismajli and Pajaziti have undergone medical examinations at their respective clubs and after reviewing the tests by the medical staff, it has been concluded that they cannot recover in time for these two challenges.
