Ariana Grande ditches iconic ponytail, goes brunette
Ariana Grande is increasingly embracing a new version of herself, and it all starts with her hair.
After three years of going blonde for her role as Glinda in Wicked, the singer and actress has ditched her iconic ponytail look and gone brunette. She first debuted the new color on Instagram, and confirmed it live on November 6th during an appearance on French show Le Quotidien.

In the studio, Ariana appeared alongside co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey, with her hair loose over her shoulders, far from her classic high-plucked ponytail look.
But the changes didn't stop at hair. During the filming of Wicked, Ariana and Cynthia also sealed their friendship with shared tattoos.
"We got both 'For Good' tattoos," Ariana told Le Quotidien, referring to the iconic Wicked song. "We have one more that we can't show. Actually, two that we can't show," she added with humor.
As 'Wicked: For Good' approaches its November 21st release date, Ariana Grande is entering this new phase of her career and image without her legendary ponytail, but with a new brunette glam and a new family of artists, with whom she seems to be connected by something much stronger than just a movie.
