Wanted man arrested in Gjilan, sentenced to 2 years in prison for unauthorized distribution of narcotics

The Kosovo Police, namely the Regional Directorate in Gjilan, has arrested a person wanted by court order to serve a prison sentence.

The Regional Police Directorate in Gjilan, police officers of the Police Station in Gjilan on 13.02.2026, in the course of implementing the operational plan for the implementation of court orders, after undertaking the necessary operational and investigative actions, have managed to locate and
arrest the person BD male Kosovar.

The arrested person was wanted by order of the Basic Court in Gjilan to serve a prison sentence of two (2) years, for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances" under Article 267 of the Criminal Code.

After the completion of the procedures, he was sent to serve his sentence.
The Regional Police Directorate in Gjilan will continue to implement court orders and take operational actions against persons who have not responded to the calls of the justice bodies.
