Arian Tahiri reacts to suspicions of manipulation: Mitrovica deserves justice

PDK's candidate for mayor of Mitrovica, Arian Tahiri, has reacted to suspicions of vote manipulation by the Vetëvendosje Movement in Sunday's elections in this municipality.

Through a post on Facebook, Tahiri wrote that the vote counting process has highlighted serious concerns, which require full verification and fair legal treatment, reports IndeksOnline.

He said that Mitrovica deserves justice.

"My team and I are committed to protecting the integrity of the electoral process and the will of the citizens of Mitrovica," Tahiri wrote.

He has requested transparency and honesty from the responsible institutions regarding this process.

"We also demand transparency and honesty from the responsible institutions, because our democracy cannot be built on irregularities and electoral manipulation. Mitrovica deserves justice and our commitment is uncompromising to ensure it," Tahiri wrote. /IndeksOnline/
