Sunday, 28 October 2018 10:25The helicopter of the English club's president Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed outside Leicester's King Power Stadium, minutes after the draw with West Ham on Saturday night.
Srivaddhanaprabha was inside the helicopter when it crashed at around 21:30 p.m. last night, a family source told the BBC.
It is not yet known whether anyone else from the family, board or other club staff was on board the helicopter as the English police have not yet made the details of the accident public. A witness to the incident said he saw Leicester players running out of the stadium towards the scene, adding that goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was the first to arrive at the scene.
Leicester drew 1-1 at home against West Ham United.
The match had started at 18:30 PM and had ended an hour before the club owner's helicopter was due to take off.
