BMW confirms future of 4 Series, new generation and petrol M4 on the horizon

BMW has confirmed that the 4 Series will not stop production and that work is already underway on the next generation, which will come alongside the "Neue Klasse" 3 Series, as a sportier and more design-oriented alternative.

Another piece of good news is that the new BMW M4 is definitely coming. Although it was rumored to go all-electric, it currently seems more likely that the gasoline engine will remain.

The 4 Series, introduced as a standalone model in 2013 and in its second generation since 2020, has also served as the basis for the electric model and has generally proven to be a significant success for BMW.
