In these cars, water can penetrate the engine, where it can cause corrosion. Starting the engine may be impossible in this case. In the worst case, there may even be a fire.

According to BMW, fires can occur even when the car is turned off. Therefore, it is required that these cars be parked outside and not near buildings or inside a garage.
