Bekë Berisha after meeting with "Plisat": They have proposed names for the role of the president of the Pristina UN

Bekë Berisha continues to remain the president of the Pristina City Council until the moment of being sworn in as a member of the Kosovo Assembly.

During an interview for "Dukagjini TV", after the meeting with "Plisat", Berisha indicated that he cannot be the president of the Pristina City Council, just a few days after being appointed to this role, writes Indeksonline

According to the law, Berisha cannot hold two positions.

"I am in communication with the club's fans, the Plisa fans, as there have been some misunderstandings. The meetings I have had with the Plisa representatives, I have invited them to give me proposals on how to get out of this impasse. They have their demands. I am here to support them. But from a legal perspective, I need to make the decision, to appoint an acting president of the club and continue.

"It will be a proposal from groups of fans and supporters for the new president. Those who have given everything for this club and who feel this shirt."

"I will appoint him. I will be there until the moment I take the oath as an MP."

"I am unable to carry out this task. I thank everyone who has given me their trust. And I have been ready to give everything for this club.

"My goal is to be united and achieve success," said Bekë Berisha after the meeting she had with the fans today.

We recall that Berisha was appointed president of the Pristina Municipal Council a few days ago, but the MCYS informed him that he could not hold two positions.Indeksonline/
