Ben Blushi reveals the title of his new book, it's called "I am Muslim"

Renowned author, Ben Blushi, has published the title of his newest book - "I am Muslim".

Blushi stated that many people may be surprised by the title of his novel, but that it does not coincide with the reasons why he wrote it.

"The novel describes the story of a writer who, after many ups and downs, decides to become a Muslim.

"His views on Islam gradually change due to some fluctuations in his private life and especially during a visit to Mecca where he marvels," the former Albanian minister wrote.

I AM A MUSLIM

I know many people will be surprised by the title of my new novel, but that's not why I wrote it.

I am an atheist and the sentence I am Muslim doesn't seem to fit my mouth.

And yet I think it works.

There is no sentence that a writer cannot say through the mouths of his characters.

The novel describes the story of a writer who, after many ups and downs, decides to become a Muslim.

His views on Islam gradually change due to some fluctuations in his private life and especially during a visit to Mecca where he marvels.

Finally, after an incident with a group of fanatics, the writer announces his decision on Facebook with the note: I am Muslim.

This sentence also gave the title to the book.

I really hope that the novel will be read as it is, that is, as literature and nothing else.

I Am Muslim will be promoted on Monday afternoon and starting Tuesday it will be in every bookstore as well as at the Book Fair.
