Berisha: Only resistance and protests will save Albania

The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania, Sali Berisha, held a meeting today with the heads of the DP branches, where he analyzed the results of the May 11 parliamentary elections, which he described as an electoral farce.

During his speech, Berisha said that the May 11 elections were an electoral farce, while warning of a national protest.

"Apart from protest, peaceful uprising, no other means will be able to save Albania from this savage internal invasion."

"So for every Albanian who calls himself Albanian, who loves this country, a call must awaken his conscience: Let us do what oppressed nations have done against dictatorships throughout time, let us rise up and there is only one way, our resistance, our protest, no other way," said Berisha.
