Berisha warns of violent protests on December 22
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during his speech at the weekly Pulpit in front of the Prime Minister's Office, declared that the DP "is launching its final battle for the victory of the opposition, for the victory of the Albanians."
"My friends, the previous speakers here emphasized that Edi Rama is an unrestrained thief, but of all the evils of man, the one that exhausts courage the most is theft. Therefore, Edi Rama is the biggest coward that Albania has known in that position. Just a moment, look at what he does every night with Adriatik Lapaj, in his most civic, most civil protest. He puts a chair there, some tools and protests on behalf of every citizen. Every day, for hours on end, the police, the bandits take away their tents, take away their tables, take away their water with bandit acts. Why is this? Because he is the chief coward of the nation. The chief thief is also the chief coward of the nation," Berisha said, A2 writes.
"And I guarantee you that he is there, that he steals from Albanians day and night, he never gets enough, Gëzim Sadiku said it well, he never gets enough. He does all this only because of us, because we allow it. I give you my word of honor, that when we catch him in this square, with the oath that we will not let him go without his departure, he will run away," Berisha added.
