"He stood by me": Boxer Haxhi Krasniqi supports Përparim Rama for mayor of Pristina

Renowned boxer Robin Haxhi Krasniqi has come out in support of the mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama.

Krasniqi said that Përparim Rama was the only one who didn't leave him alone when he had to box, so he saw that Rama is always for the good of the sport.

"I do not belong to any party — I am from Kosovo, I am from everyone. I even believe that no political party does enough for our country, which needs dignified work and maximum dedication. However, today I feel a moral obligation to support the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, for his manliness. When I was going to box in Kosovo, I was promised many things — organization, support, institutional backing, while at the crucial moments, everyone withdrew, including the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Kosovo," Krasniqi wrote.

The famous boxer said that Rama loves the capital, so he deserves support.

"In those difficult days (which I have never spoken about, but my turn will come), full of obligations and responsibilities, the only official who did not leave me alone and who stood by me for the good of sport, Pristina and Kosovo, was Mayor Perparim Rama. I realized then that only he loved the capital and no one else, so from the bottom of my heart I wish him success and only the best!", he wrote.
