UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that Europe must be ready to fight to protect its citizens, values ​​and way of life.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Starmer called on world leaders for greater ties and cooperation, including economic ones, between the United Kingdom and the European Union.

The Prime Minister stressed that the continent must "build on its own capabilities" when it comes to defense commitments.

During his speech, the Prime Minister announced that the United Kingdom will deploy an aircraft carrier fleet to the Arctic and the High North region as part of efforts to strengthen security against Russian threats.

Starmer added that the US, Canada and other NATO allies will also join this initiative to counter Russian threats in the region.
