"By Your Side" is AAK's slogan, Haradinaj is running for prime minister
AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has officially announced that he will be a candidate for prime minister.
The General Council today nominated Haradinaj as the bearer of the list for the December 28 elections, writes IndeksOnline.
On this occasion, Haradinaj claimed that AAK has compiled a list of 110 candidates for MPs, while the party's slogan for these elections will be "By Your Side".
"The combination of bold and visionary leadership, a comprehensive list, and an economic development program are the foundation upon which the Alliance's bid for these parliamentary elections will be built," said Haradinaj.

I am honored that today the AAK General Council has nominated me as a candidate for Prime Minister and as the bearer of the list for the general elections of December 28. It has also approved the list of 110 candidates for MPs, according to the criteria of regional, professional and gender inclusiveness.
AAK's slogan in these elections will be "By Your Side".
The Alliance has also approved the election program, which is built on three main pillars: sustainability and heritage, prosperity and economic development, and security and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The combination of bold and visionary leadership, a comprehensive list, and an economic development program are the foundation upon which the Alliance's bid for these parliamentary elections will be built.
The alliance foresees annual economic growth of 7 percent, an increase in GDP of 12 to 14 billion euros within the mandate, an increase in the budget from 3.3 billion euros, as it was in 2025, to 4 billion for 2026, to reach 6.1 billion in the last year of the four-year mandate.
This budget policy is a guarantee of financial stability, of the increase in pensions and salaries, which in 2026 will mark an increase of 31 percent, expressed in nominal values: average salary of 1,100 euros and pension of 500 euros, depending on the categories.
Wages and pensions, in real time, will follow the trajectory of annual increases according to the economic development and inflation index.
The capital investment category, as a pillar of economic growth, will grow by an average of 61 percent in the first year, reaching 240 percent in 2029.
The alliance in the elections is launched "By Your Side", for the restoration of normality in the country, development and well-being, for membership in NATO and the EU, for the restoration of strategic partnership with allies led by the US, for the security and preservation of the State as an indivisible whole.
