Candidate for MP in the Kosovo Assembly passes away

Candidate for deputy in the Kosovo Assembly, Bastri Dubova, has passed away. He was part of the electoral list of the Egyptian Liberal Party.

The news was announced by the leader of this party, Veton Berisha, through a post on the social network Facebook.

On behalf of the Egyptian Liberal Party, we express our most sincere condolences on the passing of Mr. Bastri Dubova, national activist, member of the Egyptian Movement, member of the Egyptian Liberal Party, and part of the list of candidates for MP in the December 28 elections!

Bastri Dubova has been declared an honorary citizen of the Municipality of Obiliq by the mayor of this municipality.

Mr. Xhafer Gashi, thanks to his work and commitment for the benefit of the citizens of Obiliq!

We will forever remember our friend as a tireless activist, a noble and generous man!

His loss is great for his family, friends, and our entire Egyptian community.

His contribution and commitment will always remain precious and unforgettable.

We announce that the funeral of the deceased will take place today, 16.12.2025, in the village of Medvec, Municipality of Lipjan, starting at 12:00.

The Egyptian Liberal Party will today CANCEL all election activities in memory of the work and deeds of the late Mr. Dubova!
