Chiesa rejects Italy national team invitation, Gattuso 'explodes'

Liverpool midfielder Federico Chiesa has rejected a call-up to join the Italian national team for two matches in November.

According to him, Gattuso revealed that there were phone calls with Chiesa, but something didn't go well and the invitation was rejected.

"I speak to Chiesa often, we just have to respect the decision each of us makes and the problems we have," Gattuso was quoted as saying.
