Customs contributes to the Global Initiatives of the World Customs Organization

Kosovo Customs is pleased to announce the participation of Customs Attaché, Bekim Mehmetaj, an accredited expert of the World Customs Organization (WCO), as a lecturer in the specialized training for Pakistan Customs, which is taking place at the Customs Academy in Karachi.

This training is organized within the framework of the CECPAK Project, an important initiative of the Customs Union that aims to equip future customs managers with practical knowledge and skills in customs enforcement and investigation, strengthening the professional and operational capacities of customs administrations at the international level. Since 2018, Kosovo Customs has made a valuable contribution to the Customs Union programs, particularly through the COPES Program, by sharing its experience and helping to raise standards of customs cooperation and integrity worldwide.

This commitment reflects the appreciation and important role that Kosovo Customs enjoys within the World Customs Organization, as well as its continued commitment to supporting the development of modern standards and contemporary customs practices in the international arena.
