Customs in Merdare bans undeclared cosmetic products

A significant amount of undeclared cosmetic products was blocked today at the Merdare border crossing, during a detailed inspection of a vehicle by customs officials.

Kosovo Customs announces that no accompanying documentation has been presented for these products, while the total value of the identified goods is estimated to be around 1,600 euros.

"The goods have been temporarily detained until the completion of the relevant procedures, while a procedure for customs violations has been initiated against the person involved, in accordance with the Kosovo Customs and Excise Code," the announcement states, reports IndeksOnline.

Today, at the Merdare border crossing, during a detailed inspection of a vehicle, customs officials discovered a significant amount of undeclared cosmetic products, for which the party did not present accompanying documentation, while the total value of the identified goods is estimated to be around 1,600 euros.

The goods have been temporarily detained until the completion of the relevant procedures, while a procedure for customs violations has been initiated against the person involved, in accordance with the Kosovo Customs and Excise Code.
