Elon Musk keeps his promise, builds the world's largest battery

The world's number one tech mogul, Elon Musk, has won a bet by building the world's largest battery. Musk had recently promised to build the largest battery in 100 days.

Musk's company, Tesla, has completed the installation of a colossal lithium battery in South Australia with the Powerpack system. This giant battery has a capacity of 100 megawatts, writes Indeksonline.

Testing of the battery will take place in the coming days, while the battery is expected to start operating from December 1. This battery is expected to help Australia solve its renewable energy problem by providing power to 30 homes.
