Emilija Rexhepi: We must constitute the assembly, pave the way for the new government

The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Emilia Rexhepi, says that her position in parliament is legitimized by the Constitution of Kosovo and in accordance with the institution's rules of procedure.

Rexhepi said that the verdict for her election as vice president was given by the Constitutional Court.

"The Assembly must be constituted and we must pave the way for the establishment of the new government. I consider that too much time has passed and the Constitutional Court has forced us to vote for the vice president who comes from the Serbian community in a short period of time," she said on the show "Kosova Today".

Otherwise, tomorrow the assembly will meet starting at 10:00, to continue with the constitutive session regarding the election of the Serbian vice president and his constitution.
