Facebook Messenger now lets you send high-resolution photos

Social network Facebook continues to improve its Messenger app, one of the most popular apps in the world, and this time users can send high-resolution photos.

Starting today, users in the US, Canada, France, Australia, Britain, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea can send 4K photos.

The company promised that in the coming weeks this list will be enriched with other countries.

Previously, according to Facebook, you could only send 2K photos on Messenger. But with the update, the app can now send photos with a resolution of 4,096×4,096.

The social network has also published several examples highlighting the difference in clarity and sharpness.

On the left is a 2K photo while on the right is a 4K photo. The difference is noticeable when you zoom in on the photo.

To take advantage of this option, you must have the latest version of Messenger installed. /PCWorld Albanian
