Ferizaj: Five drivers punished for traffic violations

Patrols of the Road Traffic Unit within the Ferizaj Region, during checks carried out at various points in the region, have identified and punished five drivers for serious traffic violations.

The punished are:

IG (33 years old), driving a gray BMW with local license plates, was stopped in the village of Davidovc - Shtime, using his phone while driving. After verification, it turned out that this was his third offense. For this, he was fined 500 euros, 5 negative points and a protective measure of 6 months of driver's license suspension.

AI (31 years old), in a white VW Caddy with local license plates, was stopped on the Gërlicë - Ferizaj highway, who had a driving ban from 12.12.2025 to 11.03.2026. For this, he was fined 500 euros, 5 negative points and a protective measure of 6 months of driver's license suspension.

AN (43 years old), in a white VW car, local license plate, in the village of Sojevë, exceeded the speed limit completely. The police imposed a fine of 200 euros, 2 negative points and a 3-month protective measure of driver's license revocation.

IM (41 years old), driving a black Mercedes with local license plates, on the Gërlicë-Ferizaj road, exceeded the speed limit by a full speed and was fined 200 euros, 2 negative points and a 3-month protective measure of driver's license revocation.

SH.I. (56 years old), in a black Seat Cordoba with local license plates, on the Gërlicë-Ferizaj road, exceeded the speed limit by a full speed. He was also fined 200 euros, 2 negative points and a 3-month protective measure of driver's license revocation.

The Ferizaj Regional Police has announced that it will continue with regular and intensified checks.

This will be done with the aim of increasing traffic safety and appeals to drivers to respect traffic rules.
