For sale is a 1986 Yamaha XT500, with zero kilometers.

The 1986 Yamaha XT500 is much more than a classic motorcycle, it's a legend of adventure motorcycling.

It is equipped with a four-stroke engine with a single cylinder of 499 cc that offers 27 hp at 5,900 rpm.

The transmission was five-speed and reached a top speed of 132 km/h. It had air cooling, drum brakes and a weight of 155 kilograms.

It was manufactured in Japan in 1986 and sent to the Leuridan Motos et Cycles showroom in Paris, but was never unpacked.

This model, registered in France in 1988, has never been driven. The odometer shows zero kilometers. Literally.

In a few days (October 18), the auction house RM Sotheby's will offer it at auction in Munich, and it is estimated that it will reach 25,000 euros.Indeksonline/
