Former President Sarkozy released from prison
Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy will be released from prison after approximately 20 days.
The Paris Court of Appeal approved his request for release on Monday.
The former president will now be placed under judicial supervision.
In a case involving alleged illegal financial assistance from Libya for the 2007 presidential election campaign, a Paris court sentenced Sarkozy to five years in prison for membership of a criminal organization.Indeksonline/
