Google makes programming even easier
Google has introduced a series of new tools for Jules, its artificial intelligence assistant for programming.
Jules is designed to help programmers generate code, debug, and perform testing – all with the aim of making the tool as easy to use as possible.
Keti Korevec from Google Labs shared the innovations in a blog post, including the introduction of Jules Tools, a new command-line interface (CLI), as well as a new API.
Korevec said these changes reflect the company's commitment to improving both the Jules assistant and programmer productivity, in addition to a number of smaller improvements that are already available to developers.
Google described Jules Tools as a new “lightweight” CLI that brings Jules directly to the terminal.
“This is the easiest way to move from conversation to working 'side by side' in a real work environment”, wrote Korevec.
She emphasized that the new improvements are focused on making Jules available in more countries, while previous updates focused on its reliability.
