Great support from women and girls for Shaqir Totaj in Prizren

In a special gathering with the women and girls of Prizren, Mayor Shaqir Totaj emphasized his commitment to building a Prizren where gender equality and fair representation at every level are a tangible reality.

"Prizren for women and equal inclusion in decision-making is our vision. The women and girls of this city have always shown strength, knowledge and dedication to moving our community forward," said Totaj.

He said that the massive turnout at the meeting is the best evidence of the support that is growing every day.

“The large participation and support of women and girls is a clear sign of the victory that is coming on October 12. This is the moment to make Prizren an example of equality and inclusion,” he said.

Mayor Totaj added that his government will continue with concrete policies that empower women in every aspect:

"We will implement gender budgeting, build new kindergartens, support female entrepreneurship and provide municipal grants for women who want to develop their own businesses. Gender equality is a value that strengthens the entire society," Totaj concluded.
