Hamas-Israel agreement, Begaj: Trump, commitment to achieving the historic peace process

The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, welcomed today the Israel-Hamas agreement announced by the President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.

Begaj praised this achievement, which is the first phase of President Trump's peace plan, as an "important step towards a lasting and just peace, cessation of hostilities, and release of hostages," ATSH writes.

"I appreciate the role of President Donald J. Trump for his contribution and dedication in achieving this historic peace process. I believe that dialogue and understanding remain the only path towards a sustainable future in the Middle East region," said Begaj.

Israel and the Palestinian militant organization Hamas reached an agreement on the first phase of a peace plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
