Heavy rainstorms and large hail in some regions of Kosovo

Heavy rain and hail have affected several regions of the country, including Brezovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj and several villages in Gjakova.

This afternoon's storms have flooded streets and yards, while images posted on social media show high water levels and heavy hail in many areas.

In Brezovica, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kosovo, the main road leading to the tourist center has become impassable due to flooding.

Meanwhile, flooding has also been reported in Gjilan and Ferizaj. In Gjilan, several urban roads have been covered in water, making traffic difficult and endangering businesses and homes at low levels.
