Here's what Merkel's successor, Kramp-Carrenbauer, thinks about immigrants

Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer is the new leader of the popular German party, the CDU.

The CDU politician won the position of leader in a close race in yesterday's elections, replacing the current leader, Chancellor Angela Merkel.

German media have mentioned several of her characteristics as a politician, with which she has sometimes had a different opinion from Merkel.

Kramp-Carrenbauer, who until now was the party's general secretary, has generally supported Merkel on her migration policy. However, she has had some opposing positions on the issue, writes Indeksonline.

"It is okay to open the doors to immigrants. But all those who have committed criminal offenses and have a criminal past should be punished or deported, and their return to Germany should never be allowed," said Carrenbauer.

The same woman had raised her voice in Germany against abortions and businesses that advertise this business.

Carrenbauer also stated that allowing same-sex marriage could open the door to incest and polygamy.Indeksonline/
