Hollywood stars descend on Italy for the 2024 Venice Film Festival

The well-known actress Angelina Jolie has arrived in Italy on the eve of the 81st Venice International Film Festival. The actress, director, producer and now designer landed in the romantic city, looking chic in a minimalist ensemble.

The centerpiece of her look was a light beige Dior coat with short, rolled-up sleeves. Her only accessories were black sunglasses and small silver earrings, foreign media wrote.

 The Venice Film Festival begins today, August 28, and runs through September 7. During the multi-day event, Jolie is expected to attend a screening of her new film, Maria, a biographical drama about the late opera singer Maria Callas. Other stars who have already arrived in Italy for the annual film festival include Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci and Sigourney Weaver, as well as this year's jury president, Isabelle Huppert. Meanwhile, various other big names, including Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Lady Gaga, are set to appear to celebrate their upcoming film projects in the coming days.
