Friday, 14 November 2025 21:40Former political prisoner, Rizah Xhakli, has recounted his experience in prison and the Paraqin case in historical events.
He recounted how Aziz Kelmendi killed four Yugoslav soldiers in the military barracks.
"On the night of September 3, Aziz was a guard without a rifle, so he guarded his own part of the corridor, and he took a safe that was locked and sealed with wax. There were some more valuable things there that were more secret for the officer of his company, but there were also 10 bullets from an automatic rifle. Aziz took that safe and broke the lock, took an automatic, a Kalashnikov with a wooden butt, and went to the guard, and pointed the automatic at him and woke him up and said: Give me two magazines of ammunition. He woke up, wanted to resist and said: If you resist, I will kill you. Give me two magazines, you are saved. He gave them to him and took them with him," he said on the Demos show.
Xhakli also mentions the names of the four soldiers, who were two Bosniaks, one Croat and one Serb.
"Azizi starts shooting in the first room, there he kills Safet Dudakovic, Sergjan Simic, the Serb, and Goran Begic, the Croat. In the room where I was, the shooting starts and Nazim Gjenanovic, the Bosnian, is killed," Xhakli said.
