Hoxha: The electoral process is being monitored by the Police, there have been no incidents so far
The General Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, has announced that the electoral process is continuing without any incidents so far.
Hoxha, in a live broadcast on TV Dukagjini, stated that the police operational plan has been in place since 03:00 in the morning and the entire process is being monitored by the Kosovo Police.
"The day has started very well, the Kosovo Police has prepared for the voting day for the mayoral runoff and the police operation has started since 03:00 and the command rooms have been opened in all regions of Kosovo. From the information we have received from our operational centers, no problems have been reported, there were some technical problems with the electricity in Viti, while other problems have not been reported in any municipality - we hope that the whole process continues like this", said Hoxha.
Hoxha, among other things, stated that police mobilization is the same as in the first round of local elections held on October 12.
"The measures are the same as in the first round, the election material was delivered with police escort and the same at the end of the voting - each voting center has police officers and all measures have been taken to ensure that the entire process continues in an orderly manner," said Hoxha.
