JLo has never known true love.

Jennifer Lopez spoke candidly about her love life and relationship with love during an interview on SiriusXM's Howard Stern Show on October 15.

Asked by the moderator if she had ever experienced "true love," the 56-year-old singer and actress paused for a moment and replied with a "No."

"I loved a lot of people and took everything they could offer me, but at the time I didn't love myself," Lopez admitted, adding that, although she had received rings, houses and marriage proposals, she realized over time that the root of her relationship difficulties was a lack of self-love.

The music and film star emphasized that only after learning to appreciate and love herself did she come to understand what true love means and what she looks for in a partner.
