Within just eight months, over 1 couples ended their marriages!

From January to August of this year, 1,050 couples ended their marriages.

While during the month of August alone, 97 couples were divorced, which compared to the previous month, namely July, there is a decrease in the number of divorces, since in July 177 cases of divorce were registered.

"As for the divorces that occurred in Kosovo for the month of August, there were 97 cases, compared to July, we have a decrease in the number of divorced couples by (45.2%)," the KAS report states.

According to ASK data for the month of August, the city of Peja leads in the number of divorces with 10 cases, followed by Gjilan with 9 cases, Rahovec with 8 cases, and Gjakova and Klina with 7 divorce cases each./Indeksonline/
