The iconic "Iron Man" car is going up for auction

A special part of automotive and film history is returning to the spotlight.

The Acura NSX Roadster, which was used as Tony Stark's (also known as Iron Man) vehicle in the 2012 Marvel blockbuster "The Avengers," is being made its first public appearance in more than a decade.

The car is now also for sale!

The NSX from “The Avengers” is a truly unique car. A first-generation 1991 NSX was extensively modified for the film, transforming it into a roadster – although the NSX was never available as a convertible from the factory.

While the car remained technically functional, in the film it served primarily as a stylish accessory for Tony Stark's high-tech lifestyle.

After its final appearance at Monterey Car Week 2025, the Stark NSX will be publicly displayed again at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and then auctioned off.

Proceeds from the auction will go to a charity of the buyer's choice.
