"It's hard to be on Russia's side"/ Zelensky in dilemma about the Peace Board
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he has received an invitation to join forces with the Peace Board, but said it is very difficult to imagine the possibility of cooperation with Vladimir Putin.
In an interview with reporters, Zelensky said: "We have received the invitation, our diplomats are working on it, but it is still very difficult for me to imagine how we and Russia can be together in some kind of council."
Zelensky's statements come at a time when tensions between Ukraine and Russia are at their peak, highlighting the deep differences that exist between the two countries, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president has expressed doubts about the possibility of a genuine peace process, in addition to emphasizing the need to receive strong and clear guarantees for Ukraine's security.
