Serbian List candidate for mayor of Kllokot reportedly arrested

Božidar Dejanović, the Serbian List candidate for mayor of Kllokot, has reportedly been arrested.

The Basic Court in Pristina had issued an arrest warrant against the accused Bozhidar Dejanović, the former mayor of Kllokot, after the latter failed to appear at the court hearing scheduled for this week.

He has reportedly been arrested by authorities.

In the local elections of October 12, 2025, Božidar Dejanović ran again for mayor of Kllokot as a candidate of the Serbian List. Doctor Bekim Ademi is accused of having forged a document (discharge sheet) at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCC), which Dejanović used as an excuse for his absence from a session at the Basic Court in Pristina.

Together with the doctor, Dejanović is accused of forging an official document and legalizing false content.
