Jahjaga seeks President Ramos-Horta's support for recognition of Kosovo by Southeast Asian countries
Former President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, during the conclusion of her visit to Jakarta, Indonesia, met with the President of East Timor, José Ramos-Horta, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
On this occasion, Jahjaga thanked Ramos-Horta for the recognition of Kosovo's independence that took place during her presidential mandate.
Through a post on Facebook, Jahjaga wrote that during the meeting she sought support for the recognition of Kosovo from other Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
"Good relations with other countries of the world have been and remain an essential condition for the further development of the Republic of Kosovo in the international arena," Jahjaga wrote. /IndeksOnline/
